David T. Stanley is the chief executive officer and a founding principal of Full Sail Capital. David’s passions are his faith, family and providing guidance to his clients and their families with excellence, transparency and integrity.

His firm focus is to be a trusted partner to clients and their families. Loyalty, teamwork, and a relentless focus to provide value are the core values that drive every decision and interaction he shares with them.

David earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of North Texas in 1989. In 1994, he graduated from the Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He is also a certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) and holds the Series 65 securities license.

Actively involved in the community, David is the past President and now serves on the board of the Oklahoma Israel Exchange and a past chairman of the board for Ronald McDonald House Charities.  He is also a member of the investment committee for the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.  In May 2024, David was appointed as a member of the Oklahoma Securities Commission.  David lives in Edmond with his wife, Kim.  They have three children and six “grandsugars."
